Supporting Fire Door Safety Week 2025
Fire Door Safety Week 2025 is happening from 22 to 26 September, and we’re proud to support this vital campaign in raising awareness around the importance of properly installed and maintained fire doors.
While we are not affiliated with the British Woodworking Federation (BWF), we share their mission to ensure that every building occupant, whether in a school, workplace, hospital, or home, understands the critical role fire doors play in saving lives.
Why Fire Door Safety Matters
A correctly functioning fire door can make all the difference during a fire. Sadly, doors that are damaged, propped open, poorly installed, or incorrectly modified may not perform as intended when it matters most.
Fire Door Safety Week is about empowering everyone. From building owners to everyday occupants, everyone should know how to recognise the signs of an unsafe fire door and feel confident in reporting it. Education and awareness are key.
